A unique customer experience for Giulia GTA and GTAm

30 April 2020

Alfa Romeo is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and has decided to celebrate this important milestone together with its fans. On 2 March, the brand enthusiastically presented the Giulia GTA and GTAm, which represent the rebirth of a legendary car. The new GTA is inspired by the 1965 “Gran Turismo Alleggerita”, has extraordinary technical features and combines technical excellence and driving pleasure, which are fundamental elements for the brand.

The lucky ones who manage to get hold of a GTA will be able to literally have it tailor-made, personalising it thanks to a series of modifications, both internal and external, developed by Alfa Romeo. The Alfa Romeo Style Centre has analysed the key aesthetic characteristics of the old GTA and recreated them for the new models, the liveries have been reinterpreted to better suit the modern look of the cars, while maintaining the style that distinguished them. The white ‘mask’ at the front and the horizontal stripes immediately bring the racing world to mind, while the bonnet features characteristic brand elements.

Each colour represents different characteristics: the ochre-coloured livery recalls the 1750 GTAm and the 2000 GTAm with which Toine Hezemans won the European Touring Car Championship in 1970 and 1971 respectively, the longitudinal lines were aesthetic quirks of individual drivers, the coloured fronts served to distinguish different drivers present in the same race, in short, each element represents a link with prestigious GTA victories. Each customer will be able to choose one of these liveries for their car with the option of adding a side number and a Goodwool car cover to match their chosen livery. For those who don’t want liveries, the cars are available in Rosso GTA, Bianco Trofeo and Verde Montreal, colours that pay homage to the Italian flag. In addition, there is the possibility to customise the colours of the brake calipers, roll bar, belts and stitching.

Alfa Romeo guarantees a unique customer experience, customers who have booked the GTA or GTAm will be followed by a specialist brand ambassador who will follow the entire sales process. The purchase also includes a dedicated experience package that includes a Bell helmet in special GTA livery, a specific Goodwool car cover and a specific driving course organised by the Alfa Romeo Driving Academy. On Giulia GTAm there is also Alpinestars full racing clothing, on request for GTA.

Finally, the customer can request delivery of the car to one of the brand’s most iconic locations, the Officina Autodelta in Balocco.

The value of this experience is €175,000 and €180,000 for Giulia GTA and GTAm respectively.
