Acer supports Save The Children: here comes the “Kimi’s Creator Challenge”.

New beneficial work by Acer, which through its official partnership with Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN has decided to take the field alongside the famous Save The Children association. For this reason, Acer has launched a new design competition in collaboration with Alfa Romeo Racing, Sparco and the famous Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen. This is precisely the “Kimi’s Creator Challenge”.

The international competition is open to designers from all over the world, who will have to compete with each other in order to design creative racing shoes for the iconic driver, who will wear them during one of the upcoming weekends of the Formula 1 Grand Prix. In order to enter the competition, participants must first register on the official challenge website (https://kimiscreatorchallenge.acer.com/en-UK), from which they will be able to download a design template and guidelines and then upload their design to the site.

Through an online vote, a ranking of the top three best designs will be drawn up, while the overall winner of the competition will be voted by a jury made up of Acer, Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN and Sparco executives. The winning shoe will be produced entirely by Sparco and, after being worn and signed by the Finnish driver during a race, it will be auctioned together with a ConceptD 7 notebook: the aim is precisely to raise funds to support Save the Children, the humanitarian aid organization that works to improve the living conditions of children around the world and has been fighting for their rights for years.

The winner of the contest will be announced in mid-June and will be awarded with a ConceptD Creator Studio consisting of a ConceptD300 computer worth 2 thousand euros and a monitor. Registration for the contest is already open, as well as the possibility to upload your design on the site. The deadline is June 1, 2021.
