BYD introduces to the Italian market the new electric D-SUV Sealion 7: an exclusive event cured by PressMediaLAB

From December 9 to 11, PressMediaLAB had the pleasure of organizing the official launch in Italy of Sealion 7, BYD’s new 100% electric D-SUV, an event that marked an important step in the Italian automotive market. This model, which had already been presented with great success in the previous months at the Paris Motor Show and in Frankfurt, finally made its debut in our country with an exclusive presentation in the evocative location of Gadames 57 in Milan.

An Event Tailored for the Italian Market

The event was designed to meet the needs of three specific target audiences, with each of the three days dedicated to a different audience:

  • Dec. 9: Day dedicated to the national press, both generalist and trade, with a detailed presentation of the new model’s innovative features.
  • Dec. 10: Focus on corporate fleets, a market increasingly sensitive to electric mobility and environmentally friendly solutions.
  • Dec. 11: The protagonists of the day were Italian dealers, with the aim of providing them with a complete overview of the product and its commercial potential.

In addition to the vehicle presentation, all guests had the opportunity to experience the electric D-SUV firsthand thanks to test drives organized on two routes with viewpoints, which enhanced the vehicle’s performance in an urban and natural setting.

PressMediaLAB’s Contribution

The success of the event was the result of careful planning and management by PressMediaLAB, which took care of the entire project in collaboration with selected partners. Here are our main contributions:

  • Location research and selection: We chose Gadames 57, a versatile and modern space perfect for hosting an event of this magnitude.
  • Setup: Every detail of the environment was curated to reflect BYD’s futuristic and sustainable vision, with set-ups that enhanced the aesthetics of the new D-SUV.
  • Test drive coordination: The test drive experience was one of the key elements of the event, allowing guests to discover the potential of the vehicle in real-world conditions.
  • Press involvement: Our team worked closely with leading national media to ensure extensive coverage of the event, involving both generalist and specialized publications.
  • Organization and press secretary: We managed every organizational aspect, from logistics and invitation management to press communication before, during, and after the event.
