Google revolutionizes email management with artificial intelligence
Google could soon transform the way we manage email through artificial intelligence. At the SXSW festival in London, Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis unveiled his team’s work on a new AI assistant capable of automatically responding to emails and making simple decisions in line with the user’s style.
Hassabis expressed the desire to create a system that can alleviate the burden of daily email management; “I would pay thousands of dollars a month to be able to get rid of the burden of emails,” said the executive explicitly highlighting the importance and potential of an assistant capable of helping users with daily tasks.
DeepMind’s goal is to create a “next-generation email” system that can understand common emails and respond automatically. This innovation could reduce dedicated time, increase productivity, and improve work organization.
In addition to email management, Hassabis emphasized that the evolution of artificial intelligence is often underestimated in the short term but could represent a new revolution in the long term.
The integration of AI into email management is just the beginning of a digital transformation that could redefine the relationship with technology, making interactions smoother and more automated. It remains to be seen when and how Google will decide to launch this innovation, but one thing is certain: the future of digital communication is changing rapidly.
