Helbiz continues its run: it lands in Washington alongside Vox

Helbiz, group recently listed on Nasdaq (HLBZ), continues its climb of innovation in the world of micro-mobility and comes all the way to Washington DC, renewing its partnership with the world’s leading group in technology solutions for tourism, Vox.

The collaboration, already well tested in the Italian capital with excellent results, continues in the streets of Washington DC, where it opens the way to a new form of completely green experiential tourism, combining sustainable mobility with culture. In fact, drivers have the possibility of accessing maps through the Helbiz app, in which they can select a package of audio guides – in English or Italian – that provides a description of each place indicated.

Vox Group CEO Fabio Primerano says he is proud of the partnership with Helbiz and says, “Our mapping and audio technology has helped create a new and innovative way for visitors to explore cities. In addition to providing access to Washington DC’s historical, artistic, architectural and cultural heritage, our digitization tools also use detailed profiling to tailor each tour to the customer’s personal preferences and interests.”

It is therefore clear that Helbiz and Vox are committed to the same mission and share an innovative vision for the future of technology and urban mobility.

However, Helbiz’s interest in the United States has not waned, and on September 7 the company announced that it had launched a fleet of up to 150 electric scooters in the city of Durham, North Carolina, where it said it would launch a series of initiatives to promote responsible use of the vehicles.

A number of safety events, micro-mobility career pathways and benefits for low-income citizens are planned through a dedicated program. Helbiz will also partner with city universities to ensure students have access to their services. “We are excited to bring our electric scooters to Durham. They are safe, sustainable, reliable and affordable,” said Gian Luca Spriano, Helbiz’s US Head of Business Development. “In partnership with the city government, Helbiz is supporting local transportation efforts to ensure that first and last mile needs are met safely.”

Helbiz will also open a local office and warehouse to track operations in the area, creating job opportunities in the city for directly hired employees to ensure that vehicles are always loaded, sanitized and properly maintained.

Mediability is proud to work alongside an innovative and environmentally friendly company like Helbiz, creating, managing and publishing press releases related to its activities, as well as taking care of the press review service.
