IVECO presents the eDAILY, a new page in commercial transportation

On September 15, at the Socom Nuova dealership in Naples, IVECO presented eDAILY, the all-electric version of the iconic commercial vehicle. A true breakthrough line for the world of commercial transportation, the model was created by GATE (Green Automotive Transportation Ecosystem), a company founded by Iveco Group that aims to redefine the landscape of long-term rental of electric commercial vehicles, adopting an innovative pay-per-use model based on price per kilometer, for a more sustainable future. A bold new business model open to all companies, brands and partners desiring to actively participate in this important environmental revolution.

The presentation event was notable for its historical setting, taking place at Italy’s first railway: the impressive National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa. In addition to representatives from IVECO and GATE, more than 100 attendees included customers, public officials, exhibition staff, authorized repair shops and partners from the Socom Nuova world.

The star was an eDAILY model 35S14EV, equipped with a 74 kWh battery: tit was presented to the public with an extraordinary livery, the result of the collaboration with GATE, which emphasizes its distinctive qualities – power, reliability and considerable load capacity – and starting Wednesday, September 18, the model will be available for test drives dedicated to interested customers.

GATE, through the participation of Renzo Gavarrino, head of Sales, Operations & Processes, stated, “Today, thanks to the successful collaboration with Socom Nuova, we have taken an important step forward. After debuting on the Italian market on July 3, we organized ourselves to become a concrete and flexible reality serving our customers and we are convinced that we will give a decisive boost to the sustainability process in which Iveco Group strongly believes”.
