Jeep, the 4x4 winks at the electric: here is the new Wrangler 4xe
Absolute symbol of an entire sector, Jeep has recently decided to change step: the historic U.S. brand embraces electric and becomes from now on plug-in hybrid. After the announcement arrived in the last months of 2020, the new Jeep Wrangler 4xe has finally landed on the market, a range resulting from a new concept of the brand, intent on maintaining technology as a strong point but at the same time be sustainable and respect the environment.
This is a true evolution of the brand, which wants to stay true to its tradition while embracing a whole other world. The Wrangler 4xe marks a turning point in the history of the company, being the best performing model ever marketed in Europe from multiple points of view: among them technological advancement, power and of course sustainability.
Rechargeable hybrid powertrain (with easyWallbox public and home charging solutions, branded Free2Move eSolutions and Mopar®) blends beautifully with iconic off-road characteristics. 0-60 mph in just 6.4 seconds, low gears, up to 380 hp of combined maximum power and 637 Nm of torque – all for a zero-emissions 4×4 ride.
There are three trim levels in the Wrangler 4ex plug-in hybrid range: Sahara 4xe, Rubicon 4xe and “80th Anniversary” 4xe, the latter a special celebratory edition available only for this year. Beyond the basic trim, a key feature of the line will be customization: in fact, customers will be able to choose from over 100 available accessories.
A revolution that wants to be as wide-ranging as possible: all vehicles belonging to the Jeep Wrangler 4xe range can now also be purchased through financing and rental, for example with the Leasys formula. A decision taken with a view to making the product accessible and suitable for the widest possible audience, in terms of possibilities and needs.
Mediability is proud to work alongside a company like the Stellantis group, which once again demonstrates its attention to fundamental issues such as ecology and technological innovation, for which it provides analysis and press review services.
