Mediability reports on Camp Jeep 2019 through press reviews and media analysis
As every year, this summer saw the sixth edition of Camp Jeep, the most important gathering open to Jeep enthusiasts. The event was held from 12 to 14 July in San Martino di Castrozza, Trentino.
Over 700 Jeep SUVs and more than 1,500 people attended, demonstrating the strong bond between Jeep enthusiasts and the brand. Many families from all over Europe, Africa and Japan were present, thanks to a rich programme of activities for young and old alike: from outdoor sports to barbecues and live concerts.
This edition was the most environmentally sustainable ever: the set-up, for example, was made of wood from trees that had collapsed during storms in neighbouring forests, with a total of 250 tonnes of wood collected from the ground.
This year participants had the unique opportunity to get a close-up look at the new Jeep Gladiator, a genuine 4×4 convertible pick-up truck that officially marked the brand’s return to the pick-up business. The new model was present at the event with two examples. Also making its debut was the new Jeep Wrangler 1941 designed by Mopar, which will be available in various versions from the end of the summer, and the culmination of the three days was the final Jeep Parade, the key moment of the event.
Mediability, which follows the FCA brand with accuracy and attention in all its initiatives, was proud to have been able to monitor in real time the event in its moments of greatest media impact through the analysis of the press review.
