Microsoft annuncia tre nuovi controller Xbox: il catalogo si amplia

Microsoft has expanded its catalog announcing the launch of three new Xbox controllers. Let’s have a more detailed look on them!

First of all, on the occasion of the World Earth Day of April 22, 2023, Xbox announced a new, special version of the Xbox Wireless Controller Remix – Special Edition. The distinguishing feature of this new controller lies in the fact that it is made from reused plastic components, one-third of which come from recycled and remanufactured materials.

Thus, each controller has parts made from post-consumer recycled resins (PCR) and the coloured parts are from remaining Xbox One controllers. In this way, each part will be one-of-a-kind with small variations and markings. The texture of the grip is also not completely smooth but is embossed and due to the green/brown colouring, it reminds the tree bark. Each controller then comes with an Xbox Rechargeable Pack, which is a rechargeable battery that allows you to play without using disposable batteries. It’s available on the Microsoft Store starting from April 18 and at official retailers starting from April 25, at a price of 84.99 euros.

As for the other two controllers, Microsoft has announced the launch of two new colours of the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core: they differ from the other controllers simply by the two new colours, namely blue and red. They thus retain the same technical features as the others. Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core is compatible with Xbox Wireless, Bluetooth and USB-C, so it is possible to use it with all Microsoft devices. In addition, the rechargeable battery allows up to 40 hours of gaming time. The new controllers will be available at a price of 139.99 euros.
