Xbox Games Showcase 2023: the future of Microsoft’s gaming with the most awaited games of the moment

The most expected event of the summer comes back in style on June 11 in Los Angeles and broadcasts live on YouTube announcing the arrival of 27 games, in which 21 of them are part of the Game Pass catalogue. Considered one of the best gaming conferences in recent years, the event proved to be the concrete demonstration of reinforcement between producer and consumer, looking ahead on the 2023-2024.

Action role-playing games have been the most undisputed protagonists, including first party like Avowed and Clockwork Revolution, and third party like Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and Metaphor ReFantazio.

But let’s start from the beginning, the show begins immediately with the presentation of Fable by Playground Games, captivating graphics, humour, and plot twists on the agenda, between giant creatures and tiny beings. However, the release date has not yet been revealed but with the release of the trailer already, this bodes well.

The launching of the second game meets a remarkable artistic direction, we are talking about South of Midnight by Compulsion games. This fairy-tale adventure is displayed in the alternative reality of New Orleans, a real novelty ready to be experienced soon on Game Pass.

Continuing the wave of role-playing games, Awowed by Obsidian, shows a fantasy world in a magic atmosphere, high-level graphics flanked by fighting. All of that will be surrounded by a veil of mystery just until 2024, when it will be available on Game Pass.

In steampunk style, it’s time to talk about Clockwork Revolution, the new action RPG developed by Inxile Entertainment. In this game time will become an extreme relative concept, that will change all the time, making your way between the outline of the different stories.

On September 26, 2023, will be released the highly anticipated extension of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Keanu Reeves hosted the trailer and already from the first animations we are witnessing a greater prominence of Solomon Reed, the character played by Iris Elba.

Besides, a decisive date will be that of October 10, with the release of Forza Motorsport on Xbox Series X/S, PC and Xbox Game Pass. There will be a chance to experience a multiplayer mode with more than 500 cars among new Cadillac Racing V-Series. R and Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, also featured on the cover of the game. Don’t miss today’s Forza Montly event on Twitch and Youtube, in which game modes, car types and much more in the field of the automotive will be examined. Leaving players, the chance to practice their guidance in a truly innovative AI context.

An exciting release will also be that of Metaphor ReFantazio, the new JRPG from the creators of Persona by Athlus, coming in 2024 on PC and Xbox Series X|S. It consists of a veritable fusion between real world and fantasy, testing the player by resizing the concept of reality.

Starfield, by Bethesda Game Studios, comes back with even more personalized characters, in a mission that will lead to discover the great mysteries of the Universe. But the newness that will allow us an even more immersive adventure will be the one concerning central Xbox devices. The Starfield-themed wireless controller and headset will be available in limited edition. On the hardware field, the Xbox Series S – 1TB in Carbon Black, will be presented globally on September 1, 2023, on the day one of Starfield. Created from the desire of fans to own more memory hardware, it will have a 1TB SSD and will be sold for 350$ and you can already pre-order it. For more information there will be the Xbox Games Showcase Extended Tuesday, June 13 at 19.00.

Structure, rhythm, and matter, this is the event that testifies how much Microsoft is investing in this sector and how much it will do in the future. The order of the products demonstrated shows the care to keep and maintain the interest of the player and spectator alive.
